Thickness: from 0.1 to 5 mm
Width: from 2.5 to 670 mm
The purpose of shearing is to cut a coil into different rolls of smaller widths. The number of possible cuts on a coil depends on its width, thickness and mechanical characteristics. These cuts are made by shearing with knives without the formation of chips. However, the very principle of shearing between the blades induces a burr which is corrected by the burr-crushing rollers used on the shearing line, the edges are then said to be “sheared”. It is also possible to obtain deburred or machined edges.
Our installations allow us to offer you specific width tolerances (on study).
